Saudia / Saudi Arabian Airlines
The flag carrier airline of Saudi Arabia was founded in 1946 with one DC-3 and over the years it has grown to having more then 100 aircraft flying to destinations all over the world. The airline's name was Saudi Arabian Airlines for most of its history, but the name Saudia was used between 1972 to 1996 and again beginning in May of 2012 when it joined the SkyTeam airline alliance. . Saudia Airlines is based at the Jeddah Airport.
