Central Asia
Information about the countries and regions of Central Asia. Includes five former Soviet republics of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. Other countries and regions sometimes considered to be in Central Asia include Afghanistan, Mongolia, and parts of China, India, Iran, Pakistan, and Russia.

West Asia
Information about the countries and regions of West Asia. including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Cyprus, Georgia, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, the United Arab Emirates, and Yeman. Note that Turkey and the Palestinian Territory in both Asia and Europe.
