other parts of India.
Maharashtra Wineries
India's largest wine growing region is in the
Nishik District of the state of Maharashtra.
Chateau D'ori Winery and Vineyards
Several hundred acres of vineyards and a winery located
at the base of the twin hills of Nhera-Ori at Dindori.
Plans are in progress for making this winery and vineyard
a significant tourist destination by adding luxury
accommodations and artificial lakes.
Sula Vin yards
Visitor attractions on the grounds of the Sula Vin yards
include a tasting room, an Italian restaurant,
an Indian restaurant. There is also a
guest house on the property with three rooms, each
with a private patio, and a swimming pool on the grounds.
The room rate includes three meals a day prepared in
the Sula Vineyards kitchen, a tour of the vineyards,
and a wine tasting session. Located near Nasik.

Karnartaka Wineries
Grover Winery and Vineyards
Winery established in 1988 on 40 acres of land at the
foot of the Nandi Hills. Today the Grover Vineyards
more then 200 acres of French wine grapes.
The Grover Vineyards are located southwest of Nandi
near Doddaballapur in the state of Karnartaka.
